I Do: Derek and Erica. Charleston SC Wedding Photography

A sweet sweet wedding to share with you today. Beautifully elegant details- a breathtaking bride in a gorgeous dress and emotions galore. Just a wonderful day filled with many memories. I loved how Erica and her mom designed a sign for the reception with distances traveled by guests, that and the burlap pillows with their wedding date were perfect touches at the Creek Club at Ion. Derek and Erica also incorporated their nickname "Derica" onto the wedding favors- it's funny by the end of the night I found myself accidentally putting their names together- it just works! Enjoy some of my favorites from a special day with a truly exceptional couple!

I Do: Sam & Julia. Charleston, SC Wedding Photography

We're going back in time today so I can catch you back up with where we have been! In the midst of adjusting to life with my sweet little boy we just had to put a few blog posts on hold. This was my first wedding back after having Sam in May. Incidentally the groom's name- Sam- and yes something about watching him dance with his Mom (who he clearly adored) during their first dance had me totally in tears behind my camera. Sam and Julia are two people you could probably hang out with for 10 minutes and feel like you were friends. They are warm and endearing, and their wedding day was a lot of fun. Mike with Winship Productions handled all the details for a perfectly smooth day. Oh and yes the highlight of the day for me- cutest ring bearer ever. I mean a full on sprint down the aisle with "the rings"...followed by a moment of utter confusion once he delivered them wondering where to go- and then finishing his grand debut with a sprint back up the aisle. Holy cuteness overload. Such a wonderful day filled with wonderful people. Loved the spanish moss and cafe lights at the reception- all the details simply elegant. Enjoy some of my favorites!

I Do: Bryan & Krystal, Castle Ladyhawke Wedding Part 1

Bryan and Krystal said their vows overlooking perhaps one of the most beautiful mountain views I've seen in a long time. As if the scenes outside weren't enough, Krystal thought of absolutely every detail inside as well (hence part 1..part 2 coming soon). The day was truly perfect start to finish and I cannot say enough good things about Castle Ladyhawke(venue), Black Eyed Susan Catering (holy cow yummy!) and Pam with the Hendersonville Flower Market(wait till you see these bouquets). For now I will let these beautiful details and images speak for themselves! More coming soon....

I do: Brock and Cortney: Summerville, SC Wedding

Happy Saturday! I love starting my days with beautiful things...and this wedding is filled with gorgeous settings and details. Cortney and Brock tied the knot at the Ponds in Summerville. It's a cute neighborhood that just happens to also have the perfect venue in the back for a wedding! Gorgeous old oak trees...big open fields and a cute farmhouse style home fit the bill perfectly for this Atlanta couple. I loved the beautiful printed blue tablecloths and bright pink peonies at the reception. Just enough decor without taking away from the gorgeous setting. Cortney and Brock also used a local handmade popsicle vendor instead of having wedding cake which was a huge hit with guests. Such a fun idea! I have to give a huge shoutout to Matt with Love the Daniels for helping my extremely pregnant self document this wedding. Could not have done it without your talent and help! Enjoy some of my favorites.
