I Do:Bland & Jessica, Statesboro GA Wedding Photography

Two posts in one week? Why yes! Another beautiful wedding to share with you. This one from a wee bit further south in Statesboro GA. Bland and Jessica invited me down to be a part of their Christmas wedding and let me tell you these two are just precious. I'm sharing not only their wedding day but a few favorites from Jessica's bridal session in a Georgia cotton field (I mean I could have cut back flips I was so excited when I saw it!). Enjoy!

I Do: Will & Meagan, Sewee Preserve Wedding, Awendaw SC

I feel like I start every post with an apology....sorry for not blogging anything in the time I feel like I should. I've kinda decided that it's time to let that go. I feel like it's living in a sea of regrets...and life is too short and beautiful for that. Sure I wish I could blog things right after they happen...yes in practice I think it should always be that way! But then I am jolted back into my reality which is that I chase the sweetest little almost ten month old boy all over my house all day....I put his happiness above my own and productivity these days looks like keeping him alive, bathed, and in bed happy and healthy at the end of the day. I am ok with that. And now for proof that I am ok with that.....this post....one of the most epic and beautiful wedding from 2012....and you are not going to believe I could even stand to not blog it before now! Will and Meagan tied the knot at Sewee Preserve in Awendaw. What a venue. It's just a beautiful pallet to take and make your own. Ooh Events handled all the details...and let me tell you they were beautiful. Cru Catering provided the most delicious southern eclectic fare...which of course included their famous chicken and waffles. Yum. This sweet southern couple could not have been more fabulous to work with and their families made me feel at home even if I was technically working. A big thanks to the talented Reese Moore for stepping in and shooting with me. Enjoy just a few favorites from the big day.

Welcome Maren!

It's January and we are still recovering from holiday travel around here. I don't know about you, but November through January is typically a blur for us! I am trying desperately to get back in gear at home, in life, and yes on the blog:). I thought I would start the new year with new life- it just seemed fitting. This is the video I put together for my dear friend Carmen. In a pinch I stepped in to help photograph her daughter Maren's birth when she arrived just a few days early. Carmen delivered at the Charleston Birth Place. In the very same room that we welcomed our son Sam into the world in! Such a special place and such an amazing group of midwives. I know Carmen feels just as grateful to them as I do for the quality of care they offer Mom's looking to deliver outside of a hospital setting. Maren's birth was beautiful. She is a joy and a blessing. Enjoy.

*For best viewing I recommend letting the video load completely before pressing play.

Engaged: Steve & Stacy. Charleston, SC Engagement Photography

So in an effort to update this a bit more often I am making some of my posts a bit shorter. Running a business plus running a family full time= one busy mama! So here is just a few favorites from Stacy and Steve's downtown session. Cannot wait for their beautiful wedding next Spring!
