I Do: Jeff & Louisa. Mt Pleasant, SC Wedding Photography

At last I am sitting down to share this beautiful wedding with you. Caring for a newborn is tough business! Thankfully Sam is sleeping and giving me just a little time to work! Jeff and Louisa tied the knot in March at the beautiful St Andrews church in Mt Pleasant with a reception following at Pepper Plantation in Awendaw. So so many gorgeous touches at the reception! The elegant candles and chandeliers hanging from the beams of the ceiling were breathtaking. Louisa also planned quite the fare with many different food stations set up...oh my goodness the seafood paella may just go down in my book as some of the best food I've had at a wedding. Lauren over at Cafe Catering did an amazing job making sure all went off without a hitch. A special thanks to Jenna with Love the Daniels for second shooting and making this wedding a breeze despite me being very pregnant! Jeff and Louisa you were so wonderful to work with...I hope that wait on these images hasn't been torture! Enjoy!

He Has Arrived: Sweet Sam

This post will be quick and I am going to force myself not to ramble and spill my heart all over this page because it would be easy to do right now. Our sweet baby Sam has arrived. I went into labor on Thursday evening around 9:30pm and he was with us Friday afternoon at 12:51. He is perfect in every way. We are so madly in love and have not even had him with us for 24 hours. I have two gorgeous weddings ready to blog, and so please know those are coming soon....but for now I am home snuggling a baby. I will be checking emails periodically, so please sit tight if you are inquiring for fall 2012 or 2013. Thanks!!! Here are just a few pics from this morning of him hanging with his grandpa aka "Pop-o".

I Do: Whit & Eileen. Charleston, SC Wedding Photography

Another gorgeous January wedding to share with you this morning. This "winter" in Charleston has been absolutely unbelievable with record high temperatures and days like Whit and Eileen's wedding that felt like Spring! It was a perfect day. Whit and Eileen met in Oklahoma when Whit was stationed there with the United States Air Force. It didn't take them long to realize that they had found something pretty special! I have known Whit since his days at the Citadel with my hubs and it's quite apparent how happy and settled he feels with Eileen. These two decided to do a "first look" on their wedding day and get a lot of their photos in before the ceremony. The ladies in their high heels were troopers with the downtown cobblestone! After the ceremony at the Citadel Chapel we headed to the Charleston Yacht Club for a gorgeous waterfront reception. The sunset was breathtaking and the DIY details Eileen and Whit's sister had dreamed up were gorgeous! Enjoy the sneak peek!

I Do: Joey & Kathryn. Greenville, SC Wedding Photography

Holy beautiful overload...that's how I would describe this wedding. Beautiful people inside and out, beautiful day, beautiful venues. I seriously found myself selecting way too many images to share with you! Joey and Kathryn are precious. Their story starts at Clemson University where they met in their Sociology of Marriage and Family class. Oh the irony. Pretty soon Joey (the outdoors man) had Kathryn(the cheerleader) hanging up her cheer leading shoes for hiking boots and a bike helmet not knowing that just a few years later they would be planning a January wedding. The weather was glorious on their special day. The ceremony was held at Radius church where these two attend. What a beautiful building filled with character! Kathryn accentuated the old rustic charm with tons of lights and candles. Perhaps one of the most stand out moments for me was watching Joey's face as Kathryn emerged at the back of the church (Kathryn please tell me the name of the song you walked down the aisle to! I cannot find it but oh I need to buy it!). It was out of a fairytale...this song is playing and Joey looks speechless and Kathryn floats down the aisle. It was amazing. I won't spend too many more words describing it all...you can see for yourself!! A huge shout out to my amazing loving and gracious husband who chauffeured me everywhere and carried my bags all day long for this special day. Enjoy the sneak peek!
