Welcome Maren!
Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 03:06PM It's January and we are still recovering from holiday travel around here. I don't know about you, but November through January is typically a blur for us! I am trying desperately to get back in gear at home, in life, and yes on the blog:). I thought I would start the new year with new life- it just seemed fitting. This is the video I put together for my dear friend Carmen. In a pinch I stepped in to help photograph her daughter Maren's birth when she arrived just a few days early. Carmen delivered at the Charleston Birth Place. In the very same room that we welcomed our son Sam into the world in! Such a special place and such an amazing group of midwives. I know Carmen feels just as grateful to them as I do for the quality of care they offer Mom's looking to deliver outside of a hospital setting. Maren's birth was beautiful. She is a joy and a blessing. Enjoy.
