I Do: Jeff & Ruthie. Hilton Head Island. SC

What a beautiful Hilton Head wedding my team and I were able to take part in a few weekends ago. Everything from the flowers to the cake and the table arrangements- it all was just gorgeous. Melissa and I had a blast with the girls. You really can't beat having the beach less than two minutes from your house for photos! Ruthie looked stunning walking down the aisle and poor Jeff could barely contain his joy. It was so beautiful. It is why working weekends is worth every minute to me. It is such a special moment that I am able to share with these couples. I love capturing it. I know that Ruthie and Jeff have a life of love and happiness ahead. Enjoy some of my favorite images from our day.

I love this idea for a wedding gift for guests!

Jeff and the guys! Jeff is from a family of all boys!

Probably one of my favorite shots of the day!!!

The ladies were so much fun! Willing to play- and I love that!

 Ruthie's first glance at Jeff!

 How sweet are they?

It was a beautiful day despite calls for rain...

 love love love

Melissa grabbed these and I heart them- a little old school toning for just the right feel!

The band Equinox Jazz got the party going....

Ruthie is without a doubt a Daddy's girl. Her brother is at the microphone singing to them....precious.

 Dreamy!

Best Wishes You Two!!! Thanks for sharing your day!

I Do: Andrew & Christy, Brevard NC

Christy and Andrew tied the knot this past weekend in Brevard, NC. They rented the coolest old barn for their reception, and held their ceremony at Pretty Place at Camp Greenville. So gorgeous! I had so much fun with these two at their engagement session a few months back and could hardly wait for their wedding. My team and I really enjoyed it despite the 32 degree weather and 20mph wind gusts! whoa! Enjoy some of my favorites from the day. There are still thousands of images to sort through, but I tried to grab a few to share for now!

Love this! I feel like it's country western meets glamour.

Melissa nabbed the awesome orange chair from the guys dressing room....God bless the 70's.

 I absolutely love this shot!

The guys braving it on the cliff-side

So I know this is very much a silhouette shot- but it kind of intrigues me...Christy and Andrew's ceremony was so so thoughtful and emotional!

 They did it!

Probably one of my favorites of the day right here....it's just perfectly them.

Christy is a photographer in Seattle, so we had to have some fun with the camera.

 Melissa grabbed this shot....another favorite!

Melissa again- I love how you can see the detail of the old barn mixed in. It was so gorgeous.

Oh yes- fun was had by all.

Andrew surprised Christy with their getaway car....she was surprised!

Thanks for sharing such a beautiful day!!! Hope you have a blast in Mexico!

Engagement: Jason & Terri, Asheville NC

What a chilly weekend in the mountains of North Carolina! I have to say Terri and Jason did a great job pretending like they weren't freezing! I met Jason and Terri along with Terri's little boy Gabe for their engagement session at Triple Falls in Brevard. Terri adopted Gabe a few years ago when he needed a stable home. What a leap of faith- Terri's story of coming to that decision to bring Gabe home was truly amazing to hear. Terri wanted to include Gabe in our shoot because even if he is too young to fully understand "marriage"- he does know that his family is growing and life is about to change! Terri is an wonderful mom and an amazing pillar of strength. We had a lot of fun at the waterfalls, and then Terri and Jason met me the next day without Gabe for the rest of their session in downtown Asheville. I cannot wait for their Spartanburg wedding next summer- it is going to be beautiful. Enjoy some of my favorites!

Gabe has the sweetest brown eyes! I really love this shot...it says a lot.

love!!!

Adding an element of danger to the session! ha! Worth it though- I love this shot.

A favorite of the day....Asheville is such a fun location.

Jason plays the guitar....one more thing Terri loves about him.

love! love!

Family: The Alexanders, Fort Mill SC

I'm afraid this post will have to be quick! I am off to bed and then leave tomorrow for a fun-filled weekend of engagement shoots, bridal shoots, and then Andrew and Christy's wedding on Sunday. I can't wait! So last weekend  I had the privilege of shooting the sweetest boy! Charlie is about to turn one and his mom Lindsay was so excited to schedule his milestone birthday shoot. Charlie was such a champ- I really don't think he fussed once! He has the most gorgeous big blue eyes and thoughtful expressions. I had a lot of fun shooting Lindsay Monty and Charlie- they are so laid back and easy going.  Here are some of my favorites so far from their session! Enjoy!

I love his expression in this one!

Such a gorgeous day! I just love this setting.

 Cue the heart melting.

I never pass up a chance to give Mom and Dad some shots! Lindsay and Monty make that easy- they are both so photogenic!

 love love love

I absolutely love this shot of Lindsay.

Charlie wasn't so sure about the horse....

 This is classic! ha!

Thanks for sharing your sweet family with me!!!
