Newborn: Bowman Elizabeth

Jason and Bailey welcomed their first little one into the world a little over a month ago. Bowman Elizabeth was just barely two weeks old when we met for their session. It was so much fun to watch these sweet new parents so clearly enthralled with their beautiful little girl. Bowman was pretty sleepy for our shoot...which is pretty typical at just a few weeks old! Perhaps at her next session we will get to see her eyes! Enjoy some of my favorite images of beautiful Bowman.       I love the expressions on Bailey and Jason's faces...they just adore their little girl.  I love this one....doesn't the rocking chair seem enormous!  Precious.  Another favorite of the day!

Family Time: The Allen's

I have been so excited to share some of the images from the Allen's family shoot. I am still desperately catching up with summer in full swing so it has taken a little longer than I had hoped to get them up! Thank goodness my sweet clients are all so very patient! I met the Allens a few weeks ago for their shoot in Fort Mill, SC at the Dairy Barn. What an amazing setting. The Allens are a lot of fun...the Allen kids range anywhere from ages 9-19 and their names all start with the letter B! I was a little tongue tied this shoot. We had a lot of fun though. I know that "family portraits" are not something kids always jump for joy about but I think overall we had a good time. I hope that Mom will finally have those family photos she has been wanting for years! Enjoy some of my favorites.

 The Girls...

 The Guys....

And they can all thank these two for their beautiful eyes!!!

This shot is probably at the top of my list of favorites for the day.

 Love love love this one!

I love this shot of Brittany. She is so striking.

Last but not least...another one I love. They did such a great job just having fun with their photos which makes my job a breeze!

Growing Up: Hayden

I hadn't seen Hayden in almost six months since we met for his one year shoot. He is growing like a weed! I love that my job allows me to witness change and capture memories for my families as their little ones grow. Hayden is 18 months now but just as big of a ham for the camera. His vocabulary is growing and his little legs are running everywhere! I got my workout for the day hanging out with Hayden. Enjoy some of my favorites from our shoot in Tega Cay!

Two of my favorites from Hayden's 1 year session....now you can see how he has grown!

Hayden 18 Months...

Sweet Hayden...I really think he loves the camera.

Hayden on the run...I think mom and dad spend a lot of time chasing this little guy!

These photos make me smile...actually my unexpected favorites of the day. I guess because the moment is so honest. You can see the sheer joy on Hayden's face running to his momma.

Another Hayden face. I have no idea where he gets them but I love them!!!

I Do: Ashley & Jay

Ashley and Jay tied the knot this past weekend in Columbia, SC. Every detail about their wedding was absolutely gorgeous! Ashley is a lucky girl that her new mother-in-law runs her own design company and truly out-did herself on this one! The venue they chose was filled with character. Beautiful old brick walls, metal beams in the ceiling, and big windows that allowed light to stream in. I was in a photographers paradise. It also helped that my sweet couple was completely in love. Ashley is originally from Ohio, but met her husband Jay while on spring break in Cancun. Jay is in the U.S. Marine Corps and just returned from Iraq...and they couldn't wait to say "I Do". Special thanks to Melissa and Brook for shooting with me again- you two rocked it out! Enjoy some of my favorites from the day!

Ashley's dress was so so beautiful.

Gorgeous cake. You can never go wrong with orchids.

Getting Jay ready. This really was a team effort...those uniforms are not easy!

Melissa grabbed this one as the girls were getting ready- love it.

Ashley seeing her Dad for the first time...one of my favorite moments.

the girls....

the guys....

Ashley looked so content and happy the whole day...not worried about a thing.

Supporting the Marines...

Yes....yes we did take shots with a van down by the river. But honestly how often do you have kayaks just sitting around for your use?

This little guy was adorable. He winked at me as he walked down the aisle. Precious.

I officially give them the best "first kiss" award.

I love these two shots.

Cameron with Big Time DJ's had the dance floor packed! So much fun.

Phew- I have got to wrap this up. It's a hard job when there are so many photos to choose from. Thanks you two for sharing your day with us!!!
