I Do. Ben & Morgan. Asheville, NC

Ben and Morgan's Asheville wedding was so much fun! Melissa and Brook drove in to meet me for the big day. It certainly felt like December but thankfully we didn't see an ice storm! We spent the bulk of the day with Morgan as she got ready with friends at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Asheville. Ben and Morgan said "I do" in front of their family at a church nearby. Then back to the hotel for a dinner for two before they greeted guests for the reception. It was quite a party! The Band of Oz kept the dance floor packed, but it was the gathering of so many friends that made the night! Special thanks to the ladies at Verge events...they helped the night go off without a hitch! Enjoy some of my favorites from the day. It was hard to narrow them all down...soo many left to sort through. Merry Christmas to all!

Melissa ninja shooting from the second floor- I love the perspective with the brick.

One of my absolute favorites of the day.

Ben never wears socks....he made no exception for the big day!

Sooo much fun- can you tell?

I Do. Porter & Kayla. Mt. Pleasant SC

Finally a sneak peak at Kayla and Porter's gorgeous Mt. Pleasant wedding! Thanks for being patient! I am going to have to blog Kayla's bridal portrait session separately as there are so many I want to share. You will see a few below. Porter and Kayla said I do the first weekend in December. The weather held out for us until after the ceremony when it was a total down pour! I will have more to share from their "post" session in a few weeks. All of the details were so gorgeous and the reception sooo much fun! But what really made it so special was Kayla and Porter and the amazing bond between them.  I know an awful lot of happiness is in store for them as they start this new life together. Enjoy some of my favorites

 Loved these red doors!

 Details...by Melissa

Kayla got ready at Salon Belezza with Annie.

Melissa grabbed these two with the guys...

 Loved their ties!

They were good sports when we asked them to play...I am pretty convinced Porter is having fun.

  Gorgeous!!!!

Playing with some new textures I bought. What do we think?

Two of my favorite details at the wedding....hot cocoa for guests and smores by the fire!

Oh yes...fun was had by all. The Sneakers did a great job keeping the party going.

My first wedding where someone did the worm. Love it. Yes- this is the bride's big brother.

 So so much fun!

Thank you so much for allowing Melissa and I to share such an amazing day!!!!

Saying I Do All Over Again. Chad & Autumn. Charleston, SC

I have to say I really didn't know what to expect heading out to shoot Chad and Autumn's rededication ceremony. To be perfectly honest- I'd never shot one before. I'm glad I did. Those moments at the altar seem to mean so much when you've weathered life's storms together for more than ten years. It was such a beautiful ceremony filled with so much love. Chad and Autumn really do cherish one another and the lives they have together along with their two sweet boys. After the ceremony we headed to the reception at Club Light on East Bay Street. The owners are getting ready to turn one area of the club into a speak easy- and it was a perfect reception site! The food was unbelievable and the setting so romantic. Enjoy some of my favorites from the day!

 First some details......

 Getting ready.....love this shot

 Two of my favorites!

The ceremony was held at the Stella Nova downtown...a beautiful old home! Autumn works for Stella Nova so it was perfect!

Top favorite of the day....I love this one!

 The food was unbelievable!

 Love!

Thanks for sharing such a beautiful day you two!

Family Time. The Moffatt's. Charleston, SC

I really feel very fortunate that my job takes me so many different places to meet so many different people. Every relationship is different, every family different- but the one thing that they all share is love. There is a lot of love in the Moffatt family. A lot of patience and understanding between Angie and Shawn as they adjust to their expanding family. Blake is their new little one- just three months old at our shoot a few weeks ago. Big brother Dillon is still trying to figure out who this little bundle is that he now has to share Mom and Dad with! I met the Moffatt's out at waterfront park and spent the next few hours chasing Dillon and trying to get Blake to share his sweet smile! Like most parents at the end of a family shoot Shawn and Angie were exhausted! I think it was all worth it! Enjoy some of my favorites.

 I love these two!!

What a good big brother!

 Two favorites of the day

This one on the left says soooo much to me- really trying to figure out this whole baby thing.  Kind of a candid but honest moment.

Love love love!

 Ah a moment to themselves!

Yes- they most definitely are one good looking family.
