I Do: Robbie & Lauren. Raleigh, NC

So as I am sitting here finalizing edits on Robbie and Lauren's big day, itunes has selected "The Blower's Daughter" for me to listen to in the background. I'm watching this precious couples sweet faces and honest heart melting expressions to one another- it leaves me a bit speechless and ok a little emotional. The wholehearted joy on this wedding day was truly contagious and their love for one another and excitement for marriage simply awesome. I cannot begin to express how thrilled Melissa and I were to be a part of it all. It was difficult (bordering on ridiculous) trying to narrow down favorites for this post. I will let the images speak for themselves- I don't think it will be hard at all to feel a part of this magical day. Enjoy this backyard wedding- it was perfectly Robbie and Lauren.

Cheers,

M & E         Robbie  and  Lauren wrote each other letters with gifts. Lauren's was a necklace that had a diamond of that her mother got the year she was born placed in the center.                                                                                                                                                                               ok I have to brag on Mel here...check out her toe shot...that's right she can get the groom's reaction and shoot the bride with her feet. Reason #567 why she's the best.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                I loved the reception design. Beautiful wildflowers...leather couches with lanterns...and fun table cloths with wicker chargers at each place setting.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Thanks for sharing so many memories with us! Hope the honeymoon was wonderful!

E Session. Trey & Ashley. Charleston (and Columbia) SC

Back at it again today trying desperately to catch up the blog with all that I have been up to! July has been a whirlwind. I have been so excited to share these images from Trey and Ashley's shoot. They are getting married in December in Columbia, and based on how much we sweated during their e-session I think we are all very thankful for that! These two have been together since college. Ashley used to spend a lot of her weekends on the road cheering Trey on at his football games playing for Wofford. It's easy to see why Trey is smitten with Ashley. Besides her outer beauty she is thoughtful, kind and patient. I experienced this first hand when we had a computer glitch with a few of their images and had to re-shoot part of their session (hence why some are in Columbia). Ashley was unbelievably gracious and understanding and I think excited to have a two-city shoot! So two cities and a few hours later these are some of my favorites. I adore the warmth and excitement in these images. They love each other dearly and it shows. Can't wait for December you two! Hope you enjoy these.

E Session. Troy & Katie. Charleston, SC

Troy and Katie's big day is just a few weeks away! I can hardly wait. I got a sneak peek at Katie's home with the beautiful white fence...green grass..red barn and tall meadow next door and we are going to be in photo paradise at their North Carolina backyard soiree! Troy and Katie met me in Charleston for their engagement session a few weeks ago. They both love the outdoors, so the beach was a great setting. They will be honeymooning at the place where Olympic athletes train! How cool is that!? Troy loves biking, hiking, and pretty much being outside...Katie is right at home there as well. Both are super athletic. Katie coaches basketball at East Henderson High.  All I have to say is their children are going to be unstoppable on the court. Believe it or not these two were set up by Katie's grandmother and Troy's mother...hmmm it may be the other way around...but regardless it was "family knows best" on this match up- and they were right. It was a perfect fit. Enjoy some of my favorites from the engagement session. Wedding images for these two will be up in just a few weeks!

Family Time: The Wiggins Family. Charleston, SC

Meet the wonderful fun loving Wiggins family. We included everyone on this shoot- grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts and cousins! Bryna contacted me a few months ago for a beach session for the whole family while they vacationed in Charleston. It looked like were were going to perhaps be rained out but the skies cleared into a beautiful night. I adore these images of their little girl Rielynn. Oh those cheeks!! She has her momma's beautiful big eyes and does she ever love the camera! Hope you all enjoy the sneak peak! Thanks for your patience waiting on me to catch up! Let me know what you think!
