I Do: Nick & Danielle. Charleston, SC Wedding Photography

So despite being a USC grad I tend to run in Clemson circles. Not sure how it all happened that way. But rivalries aside...I am really glad it did. I am so blessed to have been able to shoot so many "friend of friend" weddings where I get to see a lot of the same folks over and over again. It's fun. They feel like dear friends that I get to see a couple Saturdays a year. This is one of those weddings. There were quite a few "Erin Sage couples" at this wedding. It's really a blast for me. This Clemson crowd is filled with tons of super fun people and really good dancers! But that's just Danielle and Nick's friends....which while it says a whole lot about them...there is so very much more to tell you about these two. First off you may need a tissue...I mean looking at some of these images and the way they look at each other...precious. When Danielle first contacted me to shoot her wedding and she kept talking about Nick...he sounded like a great guy..couldn't wait to meet him. Then through facebook I realized- what! she is engaged to Nick Crossland! That's my dentist's son and I knew Nick from high school ministry at ECBC...crazy small world! It was such a joy to capture these memories for them. Just some truly good people with tender hearts for the Lord and for each other. I see big things ahead for these two. Enjoy the sneak peek. It has been a long time coming (more on that in posts to come....). Thanks to Hunter McRae for second shooting this fun wedding with me!

Alright....the most exit shots ever. But honestly Nick gave a different face every step he took. So here are the many faces of Nick....

I Do: Josh & Jacqueline. Lake Lanier Islands, GA Wedding Photography

I have so been looking forward to sharing this gorgeous Georgia wedding. So much thought and careful attention to detail went into planning Jacqueline and Josh's big day. I loved the use of so many natural elements like the tree trunk place holders and cake base, and the babies breath garland. Jackie and Josh wanted a very rustic feel to their decor for their lakeside wedding in Georgia. Jacqueline is originally from the Atlanta area, and the resort at Lake Lanier was the perfect feel for what she was envisioning. Jacqueline's sister Cassie and her husband Gary are dear friends of Matt(my hubs!) and I. It was so very special to feel a part of this family for such an important day in their lives. Jacqueline and Josh seemed to just float through the day. Calm. Excited. It was what they've been waiting for since they day they met at the Citadel years ago. It was really wonderful to just watch their contentment and love for one another. A big thank you to Connie Hill for assisting me and offering her talents to this sweet couple. Enjoy the sneak peek!

I Do: Michael & Christina, Liberty SC Wedding Photography

Michael and Christina are dear friends. It was such a joy to play such an important role on their wedding day. Even behind the lens I felt I was able to share every moment with them. Editing and preparing these images to show you has brought countless smiles to my face. I think it's pretty evident that these two are just totally smitten for one another. When Michael proposed, and Christina (after saying yes!) started looking for venues in her hometown of Liberty, SC, they just couldn't seem to find "the perfect spot".  Without hesitation Christina's Dad volunteered her childhood home for the wedding...not only that he would build a gazebo in the woods for the ceremony. I think the end result was bigger and more amazing than anyone's imagination. This was one serious gazebo. It really made the wedding say that much sweeter knowing how much time, energy, and love was poured into making everything perfect. I loved how Christina chose to display her bridals that we had taken...hanging from different trees around the reception. The night ending with dancing under the gazebo and a sparkler exit. It was beautiful. Enjoy the sneak peek! Special thanks to Lindsay Alexander for shooting beside me in the heat to make some gorgeous images for these two! Thank you again Michael and Christina for sharing such a beautiful worshipful day with us!
