Justin & Kristin. E-Session, Brevard, NC

Happy Thursday everyone! This weekend marks my official start back into "wedding season". whoo hoo! What better way to kick it off then with one of my adorable couples for the year. Justin and Kristin will tie the knot this September in Columbia. It's been so fun to meet with them and hear their story of how God really brought them to one another at the most perfect time. Kristin is the sister of my hubs best friend, and I couldn't be more excited to be playing such a special role in her wedding. We ended up having to move this engagement session because of a tremendous amount of rain up in the mountains of North Carolina. But the rain cleared and we had tons of sun! Justin and Kristin wanted to return to the waterfall where Justin proposed for part of their session, and this waterfall was just exploding at the seams with all of the water! We had to get creative and move around to dodge all of the waterfall over spray! Justin and Kristin were up for the adventure....following me along trails, down hills, across rocks to get to wherever we needed to be!

Todd & Kristy: ESession, Charleston SC Engagement Pics

An engagement session oozing with dreamy light and a sweet couple in love today on the blog. Todd and Kristy made the trip to Charleston and were ready to play which I l-o-v-e. We traveled to a few locations for the session and did lots of snuggling (my favorite!). These two will tie the knot in April by the water on Hilton Head Island...oh it will be just beautiful! If we can get just a glimpse of the warm yummy light we saw for the end of their e-session I will be one happy girl! Enjoy the sneak peek! 

 

Waiting for Ava. Charleston, SC Maternity Photos

I am so excited to share this fun maternity session with you today. Erika has just a few months of waiting left before she and her husband get to meet baby Ava. If this little girl gets just even just a smidgen of the best parts of her parents amazing gene pool she is sure to be an all-star athlete! Both Erika and her hubs played basketball at the college level. Erika now runs operations over at COFC for the lady cougars. We of course had to do some basketball pics as she has probably heard the phrase "Gee you look like you swallowed a basketball" on a daily basis. Got to love that. Erika met me at her in-laws beautiful marsh front home for the session. I look at these images and simply smile...this has got to be the "glow" everyone talks about because it is just stunning! Newborn: Cole. Columbia, SC Newborn Photography

Julie and Ray welcomed Cole into the world just a few weeks ago and I was lucky enough to spend day 5 with him. Oh he was perfect- content...calm....a dream subject! I have a theory on this....laid back momma's tend to have laid back babies. Julie is one laid back momma. Oh if I can just be a little bit like her when that day comes for me(anyone who knows me knows I don't stand a shot at that). Julie was happy to try anything and ok with whatever visions I brought with me. Cole slept almost the whole shoot...never cried....just happy as can be!! It's such a blessing to share my passion with friends and stop time for just a moment for them with a photograph. This is real life...true love. Here is just a glimpse....
