Waiting for Ava. Charleston, SC Maternity Photos
Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 04:13PM I am so excited to share this fun maternity session with you today. Erika has just a few months of waiting left before she and her husband get to meet baby Ava. If this little girl gets just even just a smidgen of the best parts of her parents amazing gene pool she is sure to be an all-star athlete! Both Erika and her hubs played basketball at the college level. Erika now runs operations over at COFC for the lady cougars. We of course had to do some basketball pics as she has probably heard the phrase "Gee you look like you swallowed a basketball" on a daily basis. Got to love that. Erika met me at her in-laws beautiful marsh front home for the session. I look at these images and simply smile...this has got to be the "glow" everyone talks about because it is just stunning! Erin - I must admit, when my daughter Erika suggested professional photography for maternity pictures, I was skeptical of the practicality. Ten seconds into your slide show erased all doubt. Nearly a thousand miles away and unable to share regularly in my first grandchild's beginnings, words can't describe the emotions your photography and creativity have invoked. THANK YOU! Of course, it probably helps to have the most beautiful expectant mom on the planet as your subject :-)
