A Hot Mess...

I really can't think of a better way to describe this past week and a half. I was sooo excited to fly to San Antonio, Texas with my sister for the annual Professional Photographers of America conference. I arrived...developed a horrible sinus infection...spent one whole day of the conference at urgent care getting medicine. Then flew home and somehow caught some version of like the H1N1 flu virus. Awesome. Can you think of anything better? So needless to say I have been on my back for quite some time. I took a picture at the conference with hopes of blogging while out there and couldn't even bring myself to open the computer. I just looked at it on the computer and was so tempted to photoshop myself...but alas...resisting temptation- I really felt this bad. haha.

But on a much happier note- I am all better now! Yay! And working hard designing some beautiful albums. Here is a link to view one of the latest. An amazing 2010 Tennessee wedding. You can share in the fun and view it here:

E Session: Lewis & Annie. Columbia, SC Engagement Photos

Lewis and Annie may just win the "all time toughest" award. I really think the word "cold" doesn't even begin to describe the weather the day of their engagement session. I am talking howling wind and frigid temperatures. Oh it was unbelievable. But these two just smiled their way through it all. They are easy going, thoughtful, and don't really require much other than each other. Lewis graduated from the same university as me and is now working in television news as a meteorologist and reporter. He met Annie while working in Columbia for WLTX. He was a reporter working the "education beat" and Annie just so happens to be a teacher. A news story featuring her school brought these two together and the rest is history. I love a good story :). I can hardly wait for their spring wedding on Fripp Island. Just what I know already of these two, I am sure it is going to be an amazing time filled with wonderful friends and family. Enjoy a sneak peek at a few of my favorites from their engagement session!

2011 Booking Fast! Here is what's left....

So I almost wrote Happy Monday....before quickly realizing that although it feels like my Monday it is really Wednesday. Oh boy! I flew home late last night from the Professional Photographers of America conference out in San Antonio, TX. I spent the bulk of my time there ridiculously sick...I mean sinus infection steroid shot worthy sick. Gross. So today I am back at work catching up on editing some amazing sessions coming soon to the blog!

In the meantime, here are the Saturdays left in 2011 for weddings this year. Friday or Sunday weddings are a different story so please still email at info@erinsagephotography.com to check availability there. I have also not listed December weddings because the whole month is still available. Thank you to all of you who have made me such a busy girl this year. I am consistently brought to my knees and made thankful that I am asked to play such an amazing part in one of the biggest days of your lives.

Hugs,

Erin

I Do: Brian & Hannah. Hilton Head Island, SC Wedding Photography

Happy Friday everyone! A gorgeous Christmas filled wedding to share with you today! Brian and Hannah tied the knot December 11th at her family church with a beautiful reception at the Sea Pines Resort. Christmas was in the air and they carried the festive feel through there whole day. Candy canes for guests, peppermint candy cake (oh my goodness perhaps the best cake I have tasted in a long time), red flowers, wreaths and Christmas trees! It was all so beautiful. This is the second wedding I have shot now with Hannah's family. I shot her sister Ruthie's wedding last fall. I kind of feel like part of the family :). I adore this family. They are bursting at the seams with love for one another and it is so evident. I know Hannah and Brian are going to have an amazing marriage centered around their Savior. It is so beautiful to see. I anticipate the Erin Sage Photography Blog may reach new countries today as Hannah's bridesmaids are missionaries in countries like China and Uganda and will likely spend at least an hour for images to load from their remote locations! Such an amazing group of people- truly an honor to work with you all. It didn't matter that the day started out a little wet, rainy, and gray, everyone was up for braving it outside. Special thanks to my friend Valerie for shooting with me and sharing her uber talented self! Enjoy some of my favorites!
