E-Session: Rick and Heidi. Charleston, SC

Heidi and Rick found me through Chelsye Harp over at Intrigue Design and Events. These two had already secured a wedding day photographer but were looking for some fun images over at Magnolia Plantation where they will tie the knot in October. Fun couple + beautiful setting= one happy photographer. We had a great time traveling around the plantation for these images. These two were a breeze to work with and happy to oblige my requests to cuddle and snuggle for images. Heidi and Rick met here in Charleston where Rick serves in the U.S. Coast Guard. Enjoy a sneak peek at my favorites!

Yummy Invitation Thursday~

I am feeling super inspired by a hot new find this morning. I simply had to share! Sarah at Parrot Design Studio came up with the oh so fabulous invitations for Matt and Lauren's Spring Island wedding back in March. Sitting here with my coffee this morning I finally had a minute to peruse her site and drink in some of her fabulous letterpress invitations. Too great not to share! You can view the post with Matt and Lauren's invitations here. If you are looking for a beautiful unique way to invite your guests to share in your special day you surely want to check them out!

Wedding: Lewis & Annie. Fripp Island, SC

What a wedding to share with you today. Annie and Lewis tied the knot a few weeks ago on Fripp Island, a place that holds a lot of sentimental value to the two of them. It was a laid back beach wedding (love). Lewis and Annie chose to keep the wedding smaller inviting close friends and family for their big day. Ashley with Ashley Rhodes Events kept the details fabulous as always and the day running smooth. Lewis and Annie brought the fun. I love the photos of Annie laughing because it's exactly what I would think Annie would be doing! She is laid back and loves life and Lewis was just the perfect missing piece to the puzzle for her. This guy went all out to get the girl. I loved hearing their toasts and finding out how Lewis just came in and swept Annie off her feet. I know he will keep doing that for the rest of their lives. Enjoy a sneak peek at some favorites from their day.

Wedding: Bryan and Paige, Creek Club at I'on

At last we are ready to share a full preview of Bryan and Paige's beautiful Creek Club at Ion Wedding. The colors were- amazing....details- delicious...and most importantly this couple- delightfully in love.  What a fun day all around. Paige and Bryan opted for a "first look" before the wedding out at Boone Hall. The intimacy and excitement during that moment was so very special. Bryan pulled up to Boone Hall in this vintage eggplant purple truck and my little heart skipped a beat. Oh holy cow- do I really get to play with an old fully restored vintage truck today!!? So much fun. Paige and Bryan just smiled and smiled...it was so easy to capture their love for one another. The ceremony and location were both held at the Creek Club at I'on. All of the details from the lanterns hanging from the mossy oaks to the gorgeous orchid filled vases topped with lamp shades were truly unique! Maureen Runey at Blissful Events did a fantastic job with all the decor. Souled Out took over as the sun went down keeping the dance floor packed for an awesome party. Enjoy a sneak peak at my favorites! Special thanks to Lindsay Alexander Photography for joining me for this fun wedding.
