Newborn Trey. Charleston, SC

So April was the month of babies and weddings :). If I wasn't shooting a wedding odds were good I was busy photographing a new little bundle of joy! Sweet Trey was a dream for our shoot. He finally dozed off to sleep at the end for some sweet sleepy images. Enjoy a sneak peek at some of my favorites!

Wedding: Todd & Kristy. Hilton Head Island, SC

Todd and Kristy are spontaneous, sweet, and always up for fun. I love that Kristy describes Todd as a 3G ...aka a genuinely good guy. He really is. It was such a joy just witnessing these two interact and watching their love and respect for one another. Their wedding was on a beautiful April day on Hilton Head Island at Windows on the Waterway. They were calling for tornadoes, hail and all sorts of messy stuff, but the skies remained beautiful and sunny! It was perfect! Kristy and Todd wanted a wedding that reflected their easy going fun-loving personalities. I do believe they achieved it perfectly! Enjoy the sneak peek at a few of my favorites!

Wedding: Brian & Jessica. Alhambra Hall, Mt Pleasant SC

Jessica and Brian's Alhambra Hall wedding was filled with yummy details fabulous color and genuinely great people. It was my kind of wedding. Jess's bridesmaids each bought the gray dress of their choice and yellow shoes which made for not only some very happy bridesmaids but such great depth and variety for their photographs! I am seriously loving the gray and yellow combo. The talented team of Toni and Lori over at Blue Planet Green Events did a fantastic job with the details. I loved the use of wildflowers and lemons to pack a punch for their reception decor. The bouquets were finished with a gingham yellow wrap and buttons ( I heart buttons) down the side. It was perfect. Jessica and Brian wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Simple...inviting and fun. These two spent years as friends before pursuing a relationship together, which makes for a marriage that lasts a lifetime. The ceremony was beautiful- the reception a blast. My favorite folks over at Shutterbooth made sure everyone had fun and Cameron with Big Time Entertainment kept the dance floor packed. So many memories packed into this post! Enjoy the sneak peek at some of my favorites!

E-Session: Rich & Ashley. Charleston, SC

Holy cow the last time I blogged was April 21st! Everyone always says "I can tell from the blog you have been busy"...let me tell you a secret- when the blog is silent it means I am buried in work stowed away like a cave cricket in my office! April has been busy busy with weddings! The blog suffers some in these times to make sure we stay on top of getting the final product finished on schedule. So that brings me to this incredibly patient couple!! Ashley and Rich met up with me for their e-session back in early April. Ashley told me she would be in a "bright blue dress with ruffles" and it was at that moment I knew I was in for a fabulous session! These two were a dream to work with. Laid-back and up for whatever and smitten in love. Awesome. Ashley and Rich have truly stood the test of time- they have been together since high school! Their November wedding in Charleston with close family and friends will be just a beautiful testament to their journey that has finally brought them to the altar. Enjoy the sneak peak from this e-session!
