Perfect timing on this post today as these two love birds celebrate their one year anniversary. Michael and Christina tied the knot in Liberty, SC last year, but wanted some images in Charleston where they call home. We went for a bit more of an urban feel to contrast their perfectly rustic wedding. I formerly called these "trash the dress" sessions. But realized after this shoot that it's really more of a play session and by no means are we ruining beautiful gowns! We're just giving you a chance to "rock them" :). So here are a few favorites of two of my favorite people. Cheers!

A gorgeous wedding long over due to share with you today. John and Jacki's wedding was full of soft delicate details. Blues, greens and gold colors throughout with hints of a nautical theme was a perfect fit for these two. The Inn at Palmetto Bluff was a dream location...holy beautiful their backdrops are stunning. So I am in the Big Apple today with my hubs for my surprise birthday trip! How fun is that. Oh I have the best man in the world! We worked all week to be ready to finish up and share this beautiful wedding you are about to see...so he let me steal away to the computer for a few minutes! Before you scroll down to the beautiful pics though let me share with you about these beautiful people. I felt like Jen and I had already known each other for years despite the fact we met face to face for the first time on her wedding day. I felt like an old friend there to document one of the most important days for her life. She greets me with a precious gift for our little boy...and then proceeds to show me her dress, shoes, all the little details I love. Jen's excitement for life really cannot be put into words. No I mean it. If I could have about 10% of her exuberance I would be set! "Erin isn't this amazing"..."oh my goodness I love this"...."can you think of anything more perfect!"....I mean she is precious. Mike is a lucky man because he has married one of the most fun loving encouraging women I know. The day really was perfect. Perfect weather. Perfect setting. Jen had spent a lot of time planning and thinking through all the little details...even down to the boys socks (which I l-o-v-e-d). Mike and Jen both clearly come from very loving and supportive families and have such a strong foundation in their relationship already. So awesome to see God at work in our lives. Enjoy the sneak peek at this very special day! A huge thank you to my hubby for helping me and carrying my gear all day:). Also to Sarah Bartlett for tagging along and assisting me while also pregnant! We were quite a team!
