Charleston Head Shots: The Chris Facello Group

I have had the privilege of shooting the head shots and group photo for Chris Facello and his team over at Carolina One Real Estate for the past two years. While weddings and couples in love are my main focus, head shots are just a business necessity and they should look good! Head shots should show personality and the location should mean something. I am clearly not a white back drop fan. I don't own one and I have no plans to ever buy one. With Chris and his team we stuck with the downtown vibe that feels like Charleston and finished over at the pineapple fountain...fitting since it's the sign of hospitality and welcoming folks home. Chris and his team surely do that well. Enjoy a glimpse at just a few favorites from the session.

Kevin & Kati, Society Hall Wedding, Charleston SC

The blog has been all quiet for a season and I am trying desperately to get this thing updated so you can see all the pretty things I've been busy working on for the Spring. To start...this gorgeous wedding of two very special people. Kevin and Kati tied the knot at St Andrews church in Mt Pleasant where Kati grew up followed by a fun (and I mean fun) reception downtown at Society Hall. The Emerald Empire Band truly deserves credit for our reception images because they kept the dance floor packed and they knocked our socks off with their talent...seriously hire these people they were amazing. Kevin and Kati's day was special start to finish and we loved being a part of it and capturing their happily ever after. Lauren at ELM Events made the day progress flawlessly which makes our job that much easier..couple that with these two love birds and it was a joy start to finish! Enjoy some of my favorites!

Noah and Jennifer, Cannon Green Wedding, Charleston SC

What a treat being a part of this special day. From the start I knew Jen and Noah were different...in the best possible way. They wanted their day to be different. A celebration of the life they were starting together with their closest friends and family. Their day was perfectly them and I cannot think of a better location for them than the hip new Cannon Green downtown. Just a few weeks before the wedding these two survived a terrible car accident...and amazingly a few weeks later were just about all healed up except for a residual black eye for Noah. They gracefully smiled their way through it and had the best attitude about it not ruining their wedding plans at all...if anything it brought them closer.  Jen worked for years as an international high fashion model and is now pursuing a career as a pastry chef for Dean and Deluca...and Noah is a writer and soon to be lawyer. They met thanks to Hurricane Sandy a few years ago in New York City and they decided Charleston was the perfect destination for them to tie the knot. I knew these two would be a treat to photograph, but more than that they were a joy to work with. What a fun perfectly quirky day filled with amazing food great company and simply stated details. Enjoy my favorites!

Edward & Monica, Old Wide Awake Park Engagement Photography

I love the draping oaks and wide open space at Old Wide Awake Park. It is such a hidden gem! It was the perfect place for Edward and Monica's engagement session. A laid back lowcountry vibe was perfect with these two easy going laid back love to laugh people! Monica, a professional dance teacher, and Edward, a soon to be medical student, bonded over a love of dance. Their love of the creative grew a deep friendship and love for one another and now they're headed to the altar next October! I so enjoyed capturing their forever love. Enjoy a few of my favorites!
