Matt and Heather, Boone Hall Plantation Engagement Photography

I love when my job brings me back full circle into friends lives again. The last time I photographed Heather was probably our staff head shots for our high school's newspaper. Now years later she is happily engaged to a kind handsome guy named Matt and lucky me gets to document them both here in the lowcountry for their engagement and up in the mountains of NC for their wedding! We had a lot of fun capturing their love out at Boone Hall Plantation with their precious pup in tow. I mean he had his own bow tie. Come on. I can't wait for next May! Enjoy some of my favorites!

I Do: Casey & Lizzie, Nantucket MA Wedding Photography

Oh do I have a beauty of a wedding for you today. Lizzie and Casey flew me up to Nantucket to be a part of their dreamy island wedding...and while I know it was of course a dream come true for them...it really was for me too! Perfect weather...gorgeous location...a boat ride around Brant Point after the ceremony, and a sweet couple madly in love all on an island that I have grown to love since I was a child. Yup a perfect day. Quickly after meeting Lizzie and Casey I could see a love and compassion inside both of them for others. Their day was focused around family and friends and making the most of the time they had with the ones they love. I felt like a friend amidst the festivities...and whenever that happens I am so grateful. It displays a lot of trust in what I do and who I am. Thank you both for being true to yourselves on your wedding day from start to finish. I loved the epic father daughter dance and your choreographed exit. It was beautiful watching you two be you! Now enjoy these lovely images and glorious details. I loved the pops of blues and pinks throughout the day...from Lizzie's pink shoes to Casey's blue suit (hello new groom style I like you a lot). The soft hues of the bridesmaids dresses were also perfectly fitting with Nantucket's quaint white picket fences and dark grey washed wood houses. Enjoy all the things....this wedding had it all! Oh and huge thanks to my man who carried gear...kept me hydrated...and captured some awesome extra angles as my second shooter for this one.

I Do: Devin & Emily, Greenville SC Wedding Photography

I think we never stopped smiling on Devin and Emily's big day. The talented Rachel Red shot by my side and we truly enjoyed every minute. Devin and Emily have a joy that grows deep inside...they don't take themselves too seriously..and they love to laugh. It's the kind of fun that's infectious. Devin and Emily said their vows with both of their fathers officiating at the Old Cigar Warehouse in downtown Greenville. This venue is just breathtaking. It was so much fun shooting there! The reception followed afterwards and let me tell you there. was. dancing. I am a USC alumni myself, but every Clemson wedding I shoot has me feeling a little jealous that I never learned how to dance like they do in the Upstate. I mean truly they can dance. It's fun to watch...and super fun to shoot:). Just an all around awesome day filled with wonderful people. Enjoy my favorites!

I Do: Aaron & Emily, Charleston SC Wedding Photography

This downtown Charleston wedding is just delicious start to finish. Amazing couple...wonderful decor...unbelievable light. Narrowing to favorites was a welcomed struggle. Aaron and Emily met through Aaron's mom. Not too many couples can say that! Mrs B knew Emily was the perfect girl for her son and she was right. Aaron and Emily said I do at the First Baptist Church downtown with a reception to follow at Hibernian Hall...a venue I don't shoot at often, but it's one of my all time favorites as my hubs and I held our reception there as well. It was also super special to be with Aaron and Emily and be trusted with their memories as I have actually known both of them long before they knew each other. Their day couldn't have been more perfect and I couldn't be happier to see the joy on both their faces. Special thanks to a few folks who really helped the day go so well: the ladies at ELM Events, the band Permanent Vacation kept the dance floor packed...and of course my talented second shooter Rachel Red and spring intern Andrea Porter for their tireless work. Enjoy my favorites!
