E-Session: Ryan & Meredith. Charleston, SC

I'm not sure that fun is even an adequate word to describe Ryan and Meredith. They are passionate about life and each other. Like your favorite pair of jeans I would describe them as comfortable. Comfortable with who they are, and comfortable with each other. Those types of people are SO much fun to photograph! We had a blast hopping around Mt Pleasant for their e-session. When Meredith and I first met at a bridal fair a month or so ago, she really didn't even want engagement pictures....but a little blog cruisin and she realized that you really do get some priceless images. I have to say my engagement session when I get married still contains some of my most favorite images of my husband and I! So a little about these two. They both are in school in Kansas....they love learning. I admire people like that because I don't share the same affinity for school! Both of them plan to pursue their PhD and go on to become professors. I can completely see both of them being so successful as teachers...and fun teachers at that! I cannot wait to capture their big day at Founders Hall here in Charleston! Enjoy a few favorites for now!

I Do: Troy & Katie. Hendersonville, NC

Meet Katie and Troy. An awesome adventurous couple passionate about life and each other. This wedding was really a family affair and so much fun to be a part of! Katie comes from a large family. When I say large I really mean it- 19 children total. Katie is not adopted, but most of the children are. Some are from other states and countries, and some have some very special needs. This family amazes me. They felt a strong calling to give to children who needed a home and love, and they have been so obedient. Katie being one of the older siblings has taken on a very special role of loving and caring for these children as well. A role that impacted her so greatly, that she herself is now a special needs teacher at one of the local high schools. This family is a picture of love and sacrifice. Melissa and I just were amazed and left wondering the same question I bet many ask- how do they do it!? I am sure the answer is a lot of prayer and trust! Given this strong bond it truly seemed fitting that Katie and Troy's big day was all about family. The ceremony was held at Katie's home church, and the reception in the backyard of her family's Hendersonville home.  Enjoy some of our favorites!

Family Time: The Foushee's. Charleston, SC

So thrilled to finally share a few images from Neal and Meredith's Goodbye Charleston shoot. Neal is my husband's cousin, and we were so fortunate to have family here with us for the past few years! Sadly for us, job offers in the Atlanta area came calling and Neal and Meredith felt it was time to hop states. I know they are loving life in Georgia with their little bundle of joy Cooper (seriously the happiest most expressive baby ever). These are just a handful of favorites. Hope you two enjoy! Hugs!

Family Time: The Crider's. Charleston, SC

Finally we are back from an amazing time in Alaska (photos to come soon!). Of course as taking vacation goes, you always come home feeling so behind and bogged down at work. But I am trucking along and catching up quickly! First order of business- sharing this sweet family session with you! Despite the incredible heat and humidity at our August shoot we had so much fun and really have the images to prove it! I had photographed the Crider clan a few months ago before Macy was born. Now this family of three has grown to four. Macy is precious. Honest to goodness some of the most unbelievably gorgeous features I have ever seen on a baby. Carson is growing quite well into his new role as big brother. Kelly brought him in the most adorable tie t-shirt. I am not sure where she got it, but I will be tracking one down for future use if that day ever comes for me! This is just a quick handful of a few favorites. Enjoy!
