I Do: Michael & Megan. Columbia, SC Wedding Photography

Classic and Elegant. Two words to perfectly describe Megan and Michael's Batesburg-Leesville wedding. Megan chose the most flattering and fashionable black bridesmaid dresses that truly complimented her amazing designer wedding gown. I loved the roses! Roses on the dress- roses on the cake- bouquets full of roses- all so beautiful! And then there were the shoes...I already have a mild shoe obsession already...and then I saw these shoes. I am pretty sure I shot Megan's shoes in about six locations! A little about these two- both are kind of famous all on their own :). Michael plays professional baseball for the Cardinals, and Megan is a former Miss South Carolina. I think the really cool part though is that they are both the most down to earth genuine people you will ever meet. Megan must have asked me multiple times throughout her wedding day if I need anything! Just so considerate and sweet. I was fortunate to have my uber talented friend Jenna Daniel with me shooting this wedding. We had so much fun with this bridal party- they were up for anything and super patient despite the September heat.  Megan's reception was held at the municipal building in Lexington filled with lots of food, fun and of course dancing! We ended the night with a small pit-stop at Megan's great-grandmother's house. Nanny couldn't make it for the big day- so we brought the big day to her. Sticking with my usual trend- I am posting waaaay too many images. I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites! Stay tuned for a post of some of Megan's bridal images- I have been dying to post them but had to wait until after the wedding :). Enjoy!

ESession: Scott & Regina. Charleston, SC Wedding Photography

Regina is truly one of the most infectiously joyful people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Such a sad day when she packed up and headed West for California to pursue her writing and television career out there. I should have known that a crazy turn of events would bring her back into my life! Yes almost 4 years later Regina called me with the joyous news that she was engaged and planning a Kiawah Island wedding for the fall. Steel drum band...bike rides on the beach...two fabulous people in love- um yeah I will be there. Scott and Regina love San Francisco where they both live...love riding bikes...taqueria's...and of course their gorgeous blue eyed girl Iris. So much fun capturing this beautiful family. Regina of course shows up with fabulous vintage threads....Iris in a tu tu...and Scott is pretty much willing to do what Regina wants for photos- even if that means jumping fully clothed into the fountain. Oh my goodness- could I be any happier?? I cannot wait for the wedding- so soon! Stay tuned for those images in a few weeks time. Enjoy my favorites from their session!

I Do: Brad & Cory. Hendersonville, NC Wedding Photography

My September brides must be the best of the best...all so patiently waiting for there images to post! And oh I am working as fast as I can! Delicious details to share from this beautiful mountain wedding up in my hometown of Hendersonville, NC. I (Erin) was off shooting another wedding this day, but Melissa and her hubby Graham stepped in to deliver some amazing images as always! Brad and Cory were of course a dream to work with as they are both super genuine thoughtful people. Their gorgeous green and bluey purple wedding was complete with a candy bar, peacock feathers (love!) and some of the cutest bridesmaid dresses I have seen in a while. Cory's dress was stunning- beautiful details and to top it off-pockets- really love dresses with pockets :). The reception was held at Champion Hills- the lookout is truly spectacular from the ballroom- nothing but blue mountains. The lush green of the grass and Cory's ridiculously gorgeous blue eyes- I seriously thought it just wrong to turn too many images black and white! A beautiful couple and a truly beautiful day- enjoy some of our favorites!
