Tadpole & Lily. Charlotte NC Children's Photography

Tadpole & Lily was dreamed up by a client of mine who wanted cute headbands for her daughter- made of good quality comfortable products at a good price. I love women who dream big! It started small, but the headbands are now a huge hit! You can find them at children's boutiques in the Charlotte, NC area. You can also read more about them and purchase them online here. Also, if you are the mom that every single stranger in the grocery store tells you how "handsome" your little boy is and you're done correcting them- go for a super comfy flower headband so you're sweet little girl doesn't have to be mistaken again! They do make for great props for photo shoots! Here's a few of my favorites from our commercial shoot last month with three fabulously adorable models!

I Do: Mike & Erin. Sullivan's Island SC Wedding Photography

Hello from Pittsburgh! I am sitting in my hotel room after traveling all day and I've finally got a minute to share Erin and Mike's big day. Crazy how Erin came to find me. Her younger sister's boyfriend used to work with me over at Channel 4 News and they recommended me for the job! So so glad they did. It was a day filled with fabulous people and so much fun! The other theme you will notice in this wedding- beautiful children. Oh my goodness I can't help but have their sweet faces in so many photos because I think I could eat them up with a spoon! Mike's three kids played very special roles for their Daddy and boy do Mike and Erin adore these children.  The ceremony was on beautiful Sullivan's Island with a reception to follow at Lighthouse on the Creek. We dodged thunder and storm clouds almost all day- and then once we had finally finished photos and made it inside the sky just opened up. The good news is at that point no one cared a bit because we had already captured beautiful images on the beach! I have to give credit to Trisha, Erin's sister for the beautiful bouquets and details, as she did them all herself. Thanks to my talented friend Carmen for joining me on this wedding. Here's a sneak peek at some of my favorites!

ESession Buffie & Jay, Charleston, SC

Jay and Buffie came ready for fun and I loved every second of it! Fun outfits (fabulous shoes!)...their adorable pup...and a boat perfect for exploring! These two love spending time on the water so it really just seemed perfect. Let me tell you we found some of the coolest backdrops in the lowcountry! My husband may finally have a great argument for buying that boat he wants so badly :).  Cool backdrops and a couple in love- what more could I ask for? Jay looks at Buffy with some of the sweetest expressions....I guess if I had to put it into words it would be what I think "cherish" looks like.  Buffie is a talented musician while Jay is an engineer. I think they make a great right brain left brain balance! They are so sweet with one another and I truly had the best time capturing these memories for them. We had so much fun on the water that we ended up shooting until dark! Enjoy some of my favorites!

So this time I am sharing these right away! Here are a few favorites from Megan's bridal session. I also included one at the end so you can see what the finished product looks like on display at the wedding. Enjoy!
