Waiting on Baby W, Charleston Maternity Photography

This sweet couple traveled down to Charleston for their baby moon and called on me to document this special time. Will and I went to USC together and I met Melissa a few years ago when they hired me for some Charleston anniversary pics. Always fun to see them and especially as they enter this fun new stage of becoming parents! Enjoy some of my favorites from this dreamy park session.

Belly Love: Dave & Val. Charleston SC Maternity Photography

I am going to start blogging some of my beautiful mamas. I have for a few years now only blogged weddings just out of time restraints, but as my own family has expanded I am now rapidly growing in the maternity and newborn session department! I guess it just comes with the territory. But I have to admit...maternity sessions might just be my most favorite "job". I cant even call it a job really I enjoy these sessions thoroughly. Pregnancy is such a beautiful time of excitement and anticipation and a flood of so many other wonderful emotions. I love being able to capture that and freeze that moment for my clients. Fellow photographer and friend Valerie asked me to document this time for her and her hubby Dave. These are a few of my favorites from our time at Boone Hall Plantation. Enjoy this glowing Mom and Dad to be!

Newborn Cutler: Charleston Newborn Photography

Sweet baby C was a champ for his newborn session. I mean milk drunk champ. I just adore the images we were able to capture yesterday. Cutler's Daddy bought him this old 1980's Tonka trunk...and never in a million years would I have thought he would fit inside it...oh but he did and I am just in love with the image. I think of my own little guy running around wrecking house as a toddler and pushing his "tractors" all over the floor and I smile knowing that one day Cutler will push this very truck he slept so sweetly inside all over Mom and Dad's house and they will cherish the memory of him so small. Enjoy a few favorites.
