I Do: Bobby & J. Charleston, SC Wedding Photography

Joyful. That is how I would describe Bobby and J's day. Joyful people with thankful hearts for Jesus. It was beautiful to watch. Both Bobby and J have some amazing friends who very clearly love them and would do anything to support them. This overwhelming love just set the tone for the whole wedding day. I love watching true love play out...I don't mean magical fairy tale love...I mean real life love where sacrifice is involved and the opportunity to show and live out selfless love is welcomed. It is a beautiful thing. I love that Bobby and J have known each other for years now, but didn't actually realize that a spark existed between them until the past year. Their whirlwind time of dating and now marriage really grew out of a wonderful friendship.

Bobby and J call Atlanta, Ga home, but with Bobby's family ties to the Charleston area, it seemed like the perfect backdrop for their wedding. The lovely ladies over at Tiger Lily Weddings helped the day to go off without a hitch and the flowers were breathtaking as always. The ceremony and reception were held at the Creek Club at Ion with amazing food from Jacob's Kitchen. J dreamed up a beautiful palate of tans and fawns with yellows and pink accents and managed to bring it all together with the most perfect J Crew dresses for her ladies. The ceremony filled with stolen glances and smiles was followed with one of the most fun receptions I think I have ever been a part of thus far...oh yes and then they left via boat underneath the most beautiful night sky. I have to believe God was smiling. Special thanks to Hunter McRae for enduring the heat and helping me capture beautiful moments for these two.  Bobby and J you two are just amazing inspiring people...thanks for letting us experience such a magical day.

Awesome!
1. The close-up ceremony shot while praying - love the cross!
2. Dig the black and whites!
3. A boat exit...could it get any cooler!?

Erin, these are simply fantastic. You have perfectly captured the emotions of the day. Thank you for using your extraordinary talents so that I can remember and re-live the special moments that were missed during a whirlwind day. Plus, you were so much more than a photographer: a sash tie-er, an emotion calm-er, a people gather-er, and a creative force. I attribute the peaceful feeling of the day in part to how calm and centered you were during some *very* stressful moments (aka: kids running through fountain onto the dress!). Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and to tailor the look of the photos to our personalities. This is a special touch that you offer that is unique and not often found in most photographers.
All the best to you! We highly recommend!

Thanks for sending the pictures. It was almost like being there. We enjoyed the setting since we had been there for our grandson's wedding. The wedding was beautiful. We especially like the cross. We wish you lots of luck and look forward to hopefully seeing you at some basketball games. Hoyt & Dottie Bodie
