I Do: Stephen & Anne, Cedar Mountain, NC
I am mildly obsessed with blackboards...peonies...and all things vintage. Anne and Stephen's mountain wedding was right up my alley. Melissa and I made the trek to the Green River Preserve, an eco-friendly camp owned by Anne's family. What a perfect place for this vintage "green wedding". The back yard was the ceremony setting, with the bridal party barefoot in the green grass. It poured about 30 minutes before the ceremony started, and then thankfully cleared just in time for this smitten couple to say "I do" as the frogs in the pond literally were singing a tune in the background (you cannot make that up!). It was just all as it should be. Perfectly Anne and Stephen. I could probably do an entire post just filled with details as there were so many neat ideas incorporated into this wedding...and I have to say Pam at the Hendersonville Flower Market just tied it all together with her stunning arrangements. Enjoy some of our favorite moments from the day!

The pre-wedding festivities! Even the groom was lake side for most of the day.... Loved the use of blackboards everywhere! No need for wedding programs to even be printed. Going green even saves green! The favors- homemade moonshine jelly and white pine saplings in re-used tin cans! This is the face of one excited bride! I mean Anne was just beaming before the ceremony. The reception was seriously rockin...the band "The Mighty Kicks"- yeah they were kickin :) The brides cousin is a drummer in Charleston...so the band let him have a go! So much fun! Can we do it all again?

Great photographs Erin! I cannot wait to see the rest.
Erin,
These are some of the best photographs I've seen in a very long time. Great Job!
Erin,
These photos are fabulous! I cannot wait to see the rest of them. By the way, thanks for the picture of our son, Joe, the drummer. He was/is the drummer for Five Way Friday, the Joe Good Band and a couple of other bands. He practices law by day! You did an excellent job!
